From now on, whenever you have to crochet one or more SC on the round crochet piece (now a semi-circle), always crochet through the next and the opposite stitch and crochet them together with 1 SC.

  • Finish: Cut the thread generously and pull it with a tapestry needle through the “inside” of the wing and let it out at the other end of the wing (next to the 1st feather) and use it later to sew the wing to the body.

    Finishing the Crochet Angel

Legs: After you’ve finished crocheting all the pieces, first sew the legs to the body. Start sewing the legs directly over the edge of the stitch row, which has been created by crocheting only into the back stitches. Sew the second leg 4 to 5 stitches to the left or right of the first leg in the same way as the first leg.

Arms: Next, sew the arms left and right to the body, just below the “neck”. Do not sew the arms directly over the legs, but rather behind the legs.

Eyes: Attach the safety eyes after the 7th stitch row counting from the top center of the head. The eyes are 4 stitches apart from each other.

Nose: Embroider the nose with a soft apricot thread. Embroider the nose 2 stitch rows under the eyes in the middle. To do this, pull the yarn horizontally several times from one stitch through the next, skipping one stitch.

Hair: Position the hair on the angel’s head and sew it on using a gold colored thread.

Wings: Sew the wings onto the back of the body, 1 to 2 stitches apart from each other at the closest point (also sew the first feather to the body to gain a better hold). Make sure that the wings run diagonally upwards.

Done is your heavenly crochet angel!
