Assembling the Voodoo Doll Pincushion

Arms: Sew the first arm to the body (the slimmer part of the body-head-part) directly under the stitch edge. The stitch edge was created by the round crocheted only into the back loop. Use the pictures as guidance to position the first arm correctly.

Sew the second arm directly opposite the first arm, again under the stitch edge.

Legs: Sew the first leg onto the bottom of the body directly at the stitch edge. Take care that the leg is sewed on same level as the arm. Again, use the pictures as guidance to position the first leg correctly.

Sew the second leg next to the first leg again at the stitch edge. Take care that arms and legs are on a same level.

Finished is a simple amigurumi doll that can be turned into everything you want it to be, in this case a voodoo doll.

Voodoonize It: To turn this doll into a voodoo doll is a simple matter of adding Black threads between the body and arms and body and legs to make it look crude and voodooish. Take a long Black thread and stitch it between one and another body part. Do not make it look too regualar.

Mouth: For the mouth, pull a Black thread horizontally above the lower stitch edge on the head. Then pull single Black threads vertically over the mouth.

Eyes: Then attach two buttons of the same or different size (both looks good) above the mouth. The eyes do not have to be perfectly accurate on one level.

Finished is your very own amigurumi voodoo pin cushion, to keep your pins from flying around and for possible spiritual rituals.
