Amigurumi Vampire Crochet Pattern

Este post también está disponible en: Español Français

The old vampires it is incomprehensible how their, over centuries built image of the blood-drinking horrors of the night could be so destroyed.

They loved to be feared and that stories of fear and terror were told about them, but unfortunately these times are over.

You now have to listen to potential victims asking if you could glitter for them or that werewolves are so much cooler than vampires.

However, if you want to call a vampire of the old school your own, which does not glitter but dies when exposed to sunlight, then crochet this little count of darkness.

This crochet vampire is crocheted with chain stitches, slip stitches, single crochet stitches, half double crochet stitches and double crochet stitches in spiral rounds and in rows and is easy to crochet.

The depicted amigurumi vampire has been crocheted with the “Schachenmayr Catania” yarn with a 2.5 mm crochet hook and has a height of 4.5 cm.

Assembling

Legs: After you’ve finished crocheting all pieces, start sewing the legs onto the body. Start sewing the first leg onto the body directly over the edge that was created by the round that was crocheted only into the back loop. Sew on the second leg 4 to 5 stitches left or right from the first leg, again just over the edge.

Eyes: Attach the safety eyes after the 7th stitch row counting from the top center of the head. The eyes are 4 stitches apart from each other. Back to the crochet pattern.

Nose: Embroider the nose with a Creme thread. Embroider the nose centered under the eyes. To do this, pull the thread horizontally several times from one stitch through the next, skipping one stitch. Repeat until a thick nose forms.

Eyebrows: Attach the eyebrows right and left, directly above the eyes, onto the head.

Alternatively, you can embroider the eyebrows slanting for a slightly grimmer looking vampire.

Hair: Place the hair on the top of the head, as shown in the pictures, and sew it onto the head with a Black colored thread.

Cloak: Wrap the cloak around the body with the opening to the front and the collar at the top and sew the cloak onto the body with a Black colored thread. The stitch edge, the transition between the cloak and the collar, should be sewn directly to the neck (transition head to body).

Arms: Sew the arms left and right onto the cloak, directly under the stitch edge/under the collar.

Gray Hair: Using a Smoke Gray colored thread, embroider the hair on the side of the head as shown in the pictures.

Teeth: Using a White thread, embroider the teeth on the right and left, under the nose, onto the head of the vampire.
