The mini fox might not be the biggest and fastest fox in the forest, but it makes up for all this by the fact that its prey does not see it when it sneaks up on them, because it is simply too small.
Of course, hunting down a normal sized deer or hare, which is several times as big as himself, is also a challenge.
If normal sized foxes are too much work for you, then simply get hold of this little fellow.
This crochet fox is crocheted with chain stitches and single crochet stitches in spiral rounds and in rows and is easy to crochet.
The depicted amigurumi fox has been crocheted with the “Schachenmayr Catania” yarn with a 2.5 mm crochet hook and has sitting a height of 5 cm.

Assembling
Legs: After you’ve finished crocheting all pieces, start sewing the legs onto the body. Start sewing the first leg onto the body directly over the edge that was created by the round that was crocheted only into the back loop. Sew on the second leg 4 to 5 stitches left or right from the first leg, again just over the edge.
Arms: Sew the arms left and right onto the body, 1 stitch row under the “neck”. Do not sew the arms directly over the legs but slightly behind the legs.
Eyes: Attach the safety eyes after the 7th stitch row counting from the top center of the head. The eyes are 4 stitches apart from each other. Back to the crochet pattern.
Muzzle: Sew the muzzle centered below the eyes onto the head.
Nose: Embroider the nose with a Black thread centered onto the muzzle. To do this, pull the thread horizontally several times from one stitch through the next, skipping one stitch. Then pull the thread through one stitch under the nose. Cut off the remaining thread and hide it inside the head.
Ears: Sew the ears 2 stitch rows right and left from the top center of the head onto the head.
Chest Fur: Embroider the chest fur under the head onto the body as shown in the pictures. To do this, pull a Nature colored thread several times from the light part of the head to after the 3rd stitch row.
Repeat this right and left of the 1st chest fur. However, pull the thread from the light-colored head area only up to the 2nd stitch row, i.e. one stitch row shorter than the middle piece. Finally, embroider 2 more pieces of fur to the left and right, again one stitch row shorter than the previous one.
Ear Details: Next, embroider the fur inside the ears. Always pull a Nature colored thread from a stitch in the middle of the ear, at the transition from ear to head, several times through adjacent stitches as shown in the pictures.
Tail: Sew the tail centered onto the back of the body, just above the stitch edge.
Eyebrows: Attach the eyebrows 2 stitch rows above the eyes onto the head as shown in the pictures.
